WellSky/Corridor powered by WellSky delivers this comprehensive training that bridges regulatory knowledge with practical implementation. The program covers the Home Health Conditions of Participation and the Medicare Home Health benefit from a clinical perspective, including eligibility requirements, face-to-face documentation, and recertification. Participants will gain essential insights into the PDGM payment model, exploring both common successes and failures. Throughout the program, special emphasis is placed on regulatory requirements surrounding clinical documentation and the critical importance of accuracy as it relates to OASIS, 5-Star Ratings, and HHVBP. The course also covers the Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) and the Home Health Quality Reporting Program (HHQRP). Participants will develop a thorough understanding of compliance risks and enforcement agencies, equipping them with the knowledge needed to excel in today's complex home health landscape.

OBJECTIVES

    FACULTY:

    Cindy Campbell, MHA Healthcare Informatics, BSN, RN, CCS-HH

    Cindy Campbell is a nationally recognized thought-leader and management consultant to the continuum of healthcare at home. Cindy holds a Master of Health Administration with specialty in Healthcare Informatics, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Cindy brings deep experience leading multi-service line healthcare at home, followed by national management consulting across the country. Cindy and her colleagues help agencies leverage strategic thought, innovation and operational efficiency into organizational, work-process and clinical model design for Home Health, Hospice, Palliative Care and Private Duty organizations throughout the United States. A passionate advocate for innovation on behalf of patients and industry, Cindy is committed to driving methodology to best serve the needs of advancing healthcare at home.

    Sharon Seaton, RN, BSN, CHPN, HCS-O, HCS-D, CCS-HH

    Sharon Seaton, RN, is a Program Manager within Advisory and Outsource Services at WellSky, where she brings over 35 years of healthcare expertise to her role. With advanced certifications including CHPN, HCS-D, HCS-O, and CCS-HH, Sharon specializes in home health and hospice operations, compliance, and education.

    In her current position, Sharon collaborates with stakeholders across the healthcare spectrum to develop and deliver targeted educational programs. She works closely with state professional associations and individual agencies to elevate staff expertise, address regulatory compliance needs, and prepare organizations for surveys. Her comprehensive approach includes both reactive solutions for agencies facing citations and proactive strategies to maintain operational excellence.

    Sharon's extensive background includes successful roles as a Hospice Administrator, where she achieved 100% program growth, and as a Quality Manager, where she implemented significant cost-saving measures while improving care delivery. Her expertise extends to OASIS review, ICD-10 coding, and the development of effective QAPI programs.

    At WellSky, Sharon also contributes to the development and maintenance of industry-supporting publications, including policy and procedure manuals and other compliance tools that help agencies optimize their operations. Her combination of clinical experience, regulatory knowledge, and educational expertise makes her a valued resource in the home health and hospice community.


    CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS:

    This activity is eligible for 9.75 nurse ANCC contact hours. WellSky is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
